I've been taking photos of my weirdo circus friends at Circus Contraption for a few years now, and have happily settled into a sort of "photographer in residence" position with them.

They're a fun group to shoot, because it's really a collaboration between us: they're good at being "on" for the camera.

Also, our aesthetics mesh well: If you draw a William S. Burroughs - Vincent Price - Tom Waits - Klezmer - Gypsy - Vaudeville venn diagram, you'll find us both at the center.

I think we're both delighted to work with each other. They're the most fun shooting project I do.
